The antique Chinese vases are plain, but beautiful at the same time. They don’t require flowers, but to add some colours I often put flowers in the Indian lassi vases. I like to mix different styles, so that my home won’t be too Chinese, Indian or Asian.
The lassi vases are originally used as christening gifts in India. The purpose was that people could drink Lassi of them. Lassi is a kind of yoghurt. Some people drink it cold with sugar. Others like it warm with salt and pepper. Yes, taste can be many things – I know what I would prefer. But I wouldn’t like drinking of them.
